Creating a Restorative Sleep Routine Sleep. It is such a beautiful word, isn’t it? There’s nothing better than a good night of sleep. Yes, sleeping is something magical. Without enough sleep you can’t think straight, you feel tired and unmotivated to work. Sleep is THE foundation of the Clean & Lean Revolution System and here is why: if you aren’t sleeping well, all the work that we are doing with your eating will simply not stick. Most of us know that there are external sources of stress that we can be affected by. Lack of sleep is an internal stress that you have control over. Lack of sleep creates a stress state in the body that affects nearly every pathway in the body while it is awake – how you metabolize, how you digest, your ability to lose weight, if you can satisfy your appetite, if you crave food and yes, even your sex drive.
